A Bit About Me

Born in the woods and waters of New Hampshire, I had several adult caretakers in my life whose teachings I celebrate and feel foundational gratitude for. I’ve spent my life exploring families, communities, and homes — across cultures and generations. After graduating from Bowdoin College, I was awarded a Thomas J. Watson Fellowship for a year of independent travel. I lived in over thirteen countries, studying child-rearing, elder-care, and how people around the world make home and family.

Upon returning to the U.S., I brought these expansive ideas of family and community care to my work as an Early Childhood Educator at a local Waldorf School, where I guided children and families in some of the most crucial years of development. During this time I earned my Master’s in Intergenerational Education and became a Waldorf-trained teacher. Since 2021, I’ve worked in early childhood and grade school classrooms, supporting children’s growth through curiosity, joy, rhythm, and relationship. Teaching deepened my understanding of what beautiful and challenging work raising children is in this day-and-age and clarified my skill and passion for working with the adult caregivers of children.

Now as a parent coach, I am able to support a broad range of families by braiding the threads of my past experiences teaching with a focus on childhood development, cultivating a deep care for building healthy communities through healthy relationships, and sharing my firm belief that children need presence not perfection from their adult caretakers. I support parents who want to lead with curiosity and joy, helping them create homes where both adults and children can thrive.

This work feels like the continuation of a lifelong journey — one that began with curiosity about how families everywhere live, love, and learn — and led me to my calling: helping parents feel more grounded, connected, and confident.
